Ixie Darkonn is an artist, curator,  film director and style designer of the fashion brand Darkonn™.

She's dedicated herself to writing novels and scripts.

She curated several international exhibitions in the USA (Panted Sound, for example, where artists have been called to paint music for those who can’t hear it) or Mad Hatters (wearable thoughts) in which Ixie has involved many surrealist artists.

in Italy, she also gave her contribution to "Gulp Goal Ciak" an international exhibition at the Museo Del Cinema in Turin with the curator Luca Raffaelli.

And has curated several art shows at the gallery Afnakafna, in Rome.

She usually directs short movies to present her projects, and is always open to new collaborations.

Ixie also sometimes writes articles for art magazines like Miroir Magazine based in Seattle.

She, as a painter, has shown at the Juan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, in San Francisco, Detroit and Los Angeles at galleries like La Luz De Jesus Gallery, Distinction Gallery, Modern Eden and more.

One of her artworks has been chosen by Universal Pictures to represent the film Snowhite And the Huntsman and it has been displayed in Hollywood next to the original clothes of the film of the costume designer Award winning Colleen Atwood.

In the same year (2012) Ixie had a personal exhibition in the White Velvet Space of the Dorothy Circus Gallery in Rome.

Ixie casually acts and models. For example she has been testimonial for the brand "Dr Zhivago by Mila P.", has starred in a short movie that was shown in Cannes "Madama Follia" by Alfredo Civita and more.

Ixie Darkonn now makes her return to Italy after her last project on Tim Burton (Nightmare In Wonderland Project), shown in Chicago, Vancouver, San Diego and Berlin.

And she is now focusing on her new line of handbags for the brand Darkonn™.
